Hope Fellowship gathers on Sunday evenings at 5 PM. We currently meet at Oakwood First UMC. Following the 2nd Sunday service, we have what we like to call our "Second Sunday Soup" (or sandwiches in the the Summer). Plan to stay and enjoy a bowl of soup/chili - or sandwiches -in the fellowship hall after the service. Come and be refreshed in the grace and hope of the Lord Jesus! Christmas. The word often evokes a flood of memories, from picking out a Christmas tree to the smell of baking goodies to the twinkle in a child’s eye. Christmas' past may also usher in difficult recollections: hospital stays and hard providences. Each of us have different Christmas memories. Like life, each story is unique – copyrighted. But Christmas is a game changer. It has the capacity to rewrite our stories and change our endings. This Advent we’ll meet several ‘players’ from that first Christmas and discover their unique Christmas experiences. Join us this Advent season for ‘Christmas Stories: From Bethlehem to You’!
